We started the Directory of Minnesota Law Firms on the Web because we wanted a good list for ourselves. When we built it, we wanted to share it.

Our law firm directory listings have grown by more than 50% in the last six months because firms submit listings, we see firms that ought to be listed and add them on our own, or kind third parties suggest firms we've missed.

Sure, the giant directories have way more attorneys who are not on the Web. And ... surprise! ... we have way more who are on the Web.

You're on the Web, so we suspect you are more interested in visiting the sites of those attorneys and law firms who are on the Web than those who are not.

At this writing (in January, 1999), we provide links to 154 Minnesota law firms. Our friends at West provide links to 24 firms and solos (but they are not all in one place). Our friends at U.S. West's online yellow pages provide links to 28 Minnesota firms and solos.

So if:

• you want about 600% more links to Minnesota law firms,

• you like the convenience of starting out with a list of law firms (rather than telling the site which state you're interested in),

• you don't enjoy fending off cookies or trying to figure out what they're up to,

• and you're willing to skip the ads,

We believe you also want quality. (You'd be surprised at how long it takes new information to get into some directories.) That's why we just asked listed firms to verify or update their listings. If they didn't reply at first, we asked them again.
